Overview
Ireland is most easily accessible to International travelers by air, with a number of airports around the country offering scheduled services to International destinations worldwide. Aside from air travel, Ireland also features a number of ferry ports with links to the United Kingdom and Northern France. Once you arrive in Ireland, you will find a number of public transportation options available to whisk you around the country. These include a nationwide Bus Service, several rail lines connecting Dublin with the country's other major cities, and a small range of internal, domestic flights. Visitors may find renting a car an easier option for getting around, with several car rental agencies available.

Air
Ireland is home to several Regional and International Airports offering scheduled services to Domestic, European and Intercontinental Destinations. These airports include:
- Dublin International Airport: Ireland's principal gateway, Dublin International Airport welcomes over 20 million passengers through its terminal doors annually. Offering scheduled services to a multitude of locations across Europe, the airport is home to Aer Lingus and Europe's largest low fares airline, Ryanair. Other airlines offering scheduled services to the airport include American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Lufthansa and Air France. A range of bus services are available from outside the airport terminal's doors to a number of destinations in Dublin, including Dublin Heuston Station, Dublin Connolly Stations and Busáras Bus Station. - Belfast International Airport: Offering convenient access into Northern Ireland, Belfast International Airport offers scheduled links across the U.K, Europe and also features a scheduled link to New York, thanks to Continental Airlines' daily service. Sea
A number of Ferry Routes link Ireland with the U.K and France, with Stena Line offering services from Belfast, Dublin and Rosslare to Scotland and Wales, while Irish Ferries link Dublin and Rosslare to Pembroke in Wales.
